Prosthetics of teeth

We make every effort to save the tooth, and only when it is no longer saved, we resort to prosthetics – the restoration of a fallen / removed tooth or part of it.
With the help of prosthetics, they make up for lost or damaged teeth, preserving the aesthetic and functional component: the prosthesis looks like a real tooth, can withstand a similar load and fully performs the chewing function.
Types of dentures
Dentures are divided into removable and non-removable, and also differ in the material of manufacture, there are elastic and hard. There are prostheses that replace one tooth, and there are those that replace several at once.
Removable prosthetics
Removable dentures are used when several or all teeth are lost at once. Then the soft tissues of the prosthetic bed take on the chewing load. There are conditionally removable dentures and full-removable ones:
Nylon ones. Elastic, durable and hypoallergenic. Suitable for people of all ages. They are removable – patients remove it every day and easily install it back on their own. To fix the nylon prosthesis, there is no need to grind the adjacent teeth.
Byugelnye. This is a structure consisting of an arch made of metal, artificial teeth and a system of retainers. Such a prosthesis is attached to healthy teeth using a lock attachment or hooks.
Lamellar ones. Such a prosthesis is made of plastic. It is an artificial gum and teeth on it. This is an inexpensive prosthesis, and it can be used for any dental defects.
Fixed dentures

This is the most common way to restore the integrity of the dentition. Fixed dentures can be as follows::
- The crown. This is an artificial tooth or its upper part. In the first case, the crown is placed on the implant (analogous to the root of the tooth), in the second – on the rest of the natural tooth.
- Bridge. This is a prosthesis in the form of one or three teeth, fastened together in a single whole. The design is called a bridge, as it is attached to healthy strong teeth, which are on both sides of the pass in the dentition.
- The tab. It is made of ceramic and is a small insert in the tooth cavity. Dental tabs are strong and indistinguishable from enamel.
- Veneers. This is a plate that is attached to the front side of the tooth. Veneers restore the deformed part of the tooth and restore an aesthetically beautiful appearance.
Dental prosthetics in Minsk
The cost of dental prosthetics varies widely and largely depends on the type of prosthesis, the material of manufacture, the number of missing teeth, and other factors. For example, if implantation is required, the final cost will be higher.
Implantation and prosthetics are different methods of treatment, but dentists often use them in combination. First, the implantologist installs the implant, and when it takes root, the orthopedist fixes the prosthesis on the implant.
We produce prosthetics of the correct shape – from the point of view of both anatomy and orthopedics. They can not be visually distinguished from real teeth, and they can withstand the same chewing load as natural teeth. Examples of prices for prosthetics are given in the table below.
We use biocompatible materials, advise the client in detail and offer the best options specifically for each case, talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the type of prosthesis and material.
